Be One of Us is yet another short URL generator. We have tried several URL condensing appications and while many of them have a plethora of features and APIs, we choose to take a different approach than most of the other sites. First of all, our redirections will not have any extra code displayed on the pages. Additionally, our API is simple and it does not include all the capability of some of the other sites. You may ask "Why not?" The simple answer is "The need for this application is big enough and we have no desire to wipe out the other sites. We simply want to do this our way."
What Do We Do?
B1of.us shortens URLs down to 22 characters (no matter how long they are). This is vital when posting to sites like Twitter. When you receive a short URL code, the code is good forever. We do this for free and we just want you to be one of us.
Capacity
We can handle over 2 billion different URLs. If we ever have the need to exceed that capacity, we will adjust our servers to handle more.
